Online application for Indian Army SSC(Tech) 45 and SSCW(T) 16

Friends, Short Service Commission notification is out for October 2014 course at OTA Chennai.

 Both Men and Women are eligible for this course including Widows of Defense Personnel For Tech & Non-Tech Entry.

 The course names are as follows,
45th Short Service Commission (Tech) - Men and
16th Short Service Commission (Tech) Women Course (Oct 2015) (Including Widows of Defence Personnel For Tech & Non-Tech Entry).

 Does Final years of Engineering can apply?
Yes you can, but you should be in a position to submit Engineering Degree certificates within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of your course.

Age limit:-  20 to 27 years at the time of starting of course. i.e. Born between 02 Oct 88 and 01 Oct 95 (both dates inclusive)


Application by online mode --> Shorting listing of Applications --> SSB Call letter --> Interview --> Medicals --> Merit list --> Joining.

Application will be open from, 31st December 2014 and will be closed on 30th Jan 2015.

SSB Medical Test

Army medical test in India The candidate recommended by the service selection board will undergo a medical examination by the board of service medical officers.  Women candidates will undergo a medical check by a board consists of male/female doctors/gynaeocologist and medical specialists.  There will be a lady medical officer as the member of the board.  The proceedings of the medical board are confidential and will not be divulged to any one.   However the candidates declared unfit by the Special Medical Board (SMB) will be intimated by the president of the medical board.  The procedure for request of the Appeal Medical Board will also be requested and intimated to the candidate.  Unfit candidates should report to the Appeal Medical Board (AMB) within a maximum period of 42 days.  Candidates are advised to appear in the AMB well in time and should not wait for the last day given by the SMB.  Candidate are advised to  note that the Recruiting Directorate has no role to play in the
