This is the usual question for officer entry at Navy selection boards.  The candidates have to explain it clearly about its sub division as Commissioned Officer and Non - Commissioned Officer The direct entry for commissioned officer are through clearing the service selection only.  To know more about the entries in navy, click here . The following are ranks of the commissioned officers in descending order.  i.e. it starts with "sub-lieutenant" and goes up-to "Admiral of the Fleet".
