Online Application for UES - University Entry Scheme in Indian Navy for June 2015 Course

Tensed about final year campus placements? Worry not :).
Here is a really good opportunity to 'live your dreams' with pride! Our Indian Navy invites you to join as Commissioned Officers under University Entrance Scheme (UES) course commencing June 2015.
So if you are unmarried Indian citizen, you will be be eligible for:
Permanent Commission (PC) in Executive branch(GS) & -Short Service Commission (SSC) in Executive as well as Technical branches of Indian Navy.
However, make sure you fulfil the following eligibility conditions:
Note:- Candidates, who have already completed BE/ B. Tech Degree need not apply.(ii) Candidate must have minimum of 60% marks in overall aggregate on completion of BE/B Tech. The candidate opting for Naval Architecture as one of the choice for the UES entry must have 6.75 CGPA overall grade on 10 Point Scale. The candidate failing to meet minimum cut off percentage will not be permitted to join INA Ezhimala.(iii) Candidates who have FAILED in PABT (Pilot Aptitude Battery Test) earlier are not eligible for the Pilot entry.(iv) Candidates are not eligible for UES entry if they have not studied Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Intermediate (10+2) level.(v) Technical Branch candidates as mentioned above at Ser. No. (f) & (g) can also be allotted Air Technical Specialisaion and will be appointed as Air Technical Officers by IHQ MoD(Navy).(vi) Candidates with BE/B.Tech degree in 'Avionics' wll be eligible for Air Technical branch only.(vii) Candidates having backlog in any semester at the time of SSB interview are not allowed to attend the SSB.2. Age. 19 to 24 years as on 01 July 2015 (i.e. born between 02 Jul 1991 to 01 Jul 1996 both dates inclulsive).
If you wish to apply for the above posts, you can submit only Online (e-application) for this entry from 05 July 14 to 05 Aug 14.

Remember to give your active e-mail address, mobile number.
Also, you need to upload recent passport size digital photograph of size less than 25kb(.jpe or .jpg format).
Instruction for filling up of e-application:-
First of all, visit website www.nausena- bharti.nic.in
Click on the ‘Officer Entry’ button under the option ‘Apply Online’ on the Home page.
Fill the online registration form very carefully.
Before Clicking the Submit button it should be checked whether all the details entered in the form are correct as you will not be able to make any correction after saving the record.
After submitting the form, an ‘Application Number’ will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
This Application Number will automatically appear on the printout of the form.
(If the system does not generate the Application Number, it is an indication of non-acceptance of Application by the system.)
Print a copy of this Application Form having the system generated Application Number.
The copy of this application form is to be submited to the Campus Selection Team of Indian Navy at the time of campus interview.
*Obtain signature of the Principal of College/University on the declaration given at the end of the application.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
The eligible candidates applying for the entry will have to appear before a Naval Campus Selection Team for interview.
The candidates qualifying the campus interview will be shortlisted for SSB interview on the basis of his/her preference for the entry, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria for particular entry.
Candidates shortlisted during campus interview will be called for SSB interview at Bangalore/Bhopal/Coimbatore/ Visakhapatnam between Dec 14 to Apr 15.
Conduct of SSB:
Stage I test consisting of Officer Intelligence Rating(OIR) Test, Picture Perception and Discussion test(PPDT) will be conducted on the first day. Candidate who fails to qualify in Stage I will be routed back home on the same day.
Stage II tests will comprise of Psychological testing, Group Task, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
The duration of SSB will be 05 days.
Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Special Medical Examination for approximate duration of 05 days at nearest Military Hospital.
Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit, will be appointed for training in order of All India Merit depending on the number of vacancies.
Return 3 tier AC rail fare is admissible for candidates appearing for the SSB interview, if appearing for the first time for the entry.
TRAINING
The training is tentatively scheduled to commence in Jun 2015 at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.
Candidates finally selected for UES, will be inducted as Officers in the rank of Sub Lieutenant and undergo 22 weeks Naval Orientation Course at the INA, Ezhimala, followed by professional training in Naval Ships and Training Establishments. In case of Executive (General Service) entry, course duration of NOC at INA would be 44 weeks.
Cost to Company (CTC):
The CTC for a Sub Lieutenant would be approximately Rs 66,000/- to 83,000/- per month.
This includes Basic Pay, DA, Grade pay, Military Service Pay, House Rent Allowances and Transport allowance.
Privileges:
Free Medical Facilities for Self & Dependants, LTC, Canteen Facilities, Entitled Ration, Mess/Club/Sports Facilities, Furnished Govt. Accommodation & Car/Housing Loan at subsidised rate.
Leave Entitlements:
Officers are entitled to (subject to service exigencies) 60 days annual and 20 days casual leave every year.
Free travel for self and family as per extant rules by air/rail as per rank.
Adventure & Sports. The Navy provides facilities to pursue any sport of your liking. In addition, one can learn and participate in adventure sports, such as river rafting, mountaineering, hot air ballooning, hang gliding, wind surfing etc.
