Indian Army Officer Entry Ncc Special Entry Scheme 37th Course- April 2015

Here’s good news for all my NCC friends!

Indian Army has invited applications for NCC SPECIAL ENTRY SCHEME 37TH COURSE- APR 2015 which consists of SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION (NT) FOR MEN & WOMEN and also INCLUDES WARDS OF BATTLE CASUALITIES OF ARMY PERSONNEL.

VACANCIES:
NCC MEN 50
(45 for Gen Category and 05 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Army only)
NCC Women 04
(10% vacancies of Women are reserved for Wards of Battle Casualties of Army personnel only)

AGE LIMIT:
For NCC candidates (including wards of Battle Casualties):
19 to 25 years (born not earlier than 02nd  Jan 90 and not later than 01st Jan 96).
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :-
FOR NCC 'C' CERTIFICATE HOLDERS
Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
Those studying in final year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years.
Such students will need to secure overall aggregate of minimum 50% marks if selected in interview failing which their candidature will be cancelled.

Candidate should also attach certificate with their applications regarding CGPA converted to
aggregate percentage of marks as per university rules from their institutes.

Service in NCC :
Should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division/Wing of N.C.C. Grading
Should have obtained minimum of ‘B' Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.

FOR WARD OF BATTLE CASUALTIES OF ARMY PERSONNEL
Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
NCC 'C' certificate not required.
Applicants under category of Wards of Battle Casualties to send their applications direct to

Dte Gen of Recruiting/ Rtg-A, NCC Entry, West Block-III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066.

Last Date of Receipt of Application in Rtg Dte for Wards of battle causalities is 08 Aug 2014.


HOW TO APPLY:

1. Apply on plain paper as per the format given at Appendix Attached, duly typed.
2. Applications should be posted to the nearest OC, NCC Unit from where NCC ‘C’
3. certificate has been issued.
4. Applications of Candidates serving in the Armed Forces duly
5. counter-signed by Commanding Officer should be sent to the OC, NCC Unit from where NCC’ ‘C’ certificate has been issued.
6. Carefully check  following point when applying
7. Date of birth from class X Certificate

1. The last date for receipt of applications is as under:
2. Last date for receipt of application at NCC Bn/Gp HQ -08 Aug 14
3. Last date for receipt of application at DG NCC - 14 Aug 14
4. Last date for receipt of application at Rtg Dte from Dte Gen NCC- 05 Sep 2014.

Few helpful tips:
(a)Please attest photographs properly.
(b) Make sure your percentage is above 50% .
(c) Make sure that your application is completely filled.
(d) Variation (if any) in names and spellings as recorded In Matriculation or equivalent certificate and Graduation certificate should be supported by an affidavit
(e) Make sure you attach attested copies of certificates.
(f) For authentication of age, make sure you attach Certified true copies of Matriculation or equivalent certificates.
(g) Send applications well in advance before the last date.
(h)Do not submit more than one application.
(i) Give all correct information.
Place of SSBs will be displayed on Army website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in

Format of Application form given on Army website is also acceptable.
