SSC Online CAPF Notification 2014
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to conduct Examination for the Recruitment of Sub-Inspectors, Assistant Sub-Inspectors to Various Central Armed Police Forces. The Central Armed Police Forces or Paramilitary forces comes under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India. So this indeed is a golden opportunity for those who wish to serve the Mother land with utmost Honour and Dedication.

WHO ARE ELIGIBLE?
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a Recognized University or Equivalent. For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, Male candidates must possess and also carry a valid Driving License for LMV(Motor cycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Final Year Students are not eligible to apply.
AGE REQUIREMENT: A candidate must be between 20 years to 25 years.
MODE OF SELECTION
The Selection Process Consist of 3 Phases:
1. 2 Stages of Written Examination viz. Paper-I and Paper-II.
Paper-I is for 200 Marks. It consist of 4 Sections,
General Intelligence and Reasoning (50 Questions, 50 Marks), General Knowledge and General Awareness (50 Questions, 50 Marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50 Questions, 50 Marks), English Comprehension (50 Questions, 50 Marks). The time allotted for the Exam is 2 hours (120 minutes).
Paper-II Is for 200 Marks. English Language Comprehension (200 Questions, 200 Marks).
Time allotted for the Exam is 2 hours (120 minutes).
2. Physical Endurance Test (PET)/Medical Exam
For male candidates only
a) 100 meters race in 16 seconds
b) 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
c) Long Jump: 3.65 meters in 3 chances
d) High Jump: 1.2 meters in 3 chances
e) Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 meters in 3 chances
For Female Candidates Only
a) 100 meters race in 18 seconds
b) 800 meters race in 4 minutes
c) Long Jump: 2.7 meters (9 feet) in 3 chances.
d) High Jump: 0.9 meters (3 feet) in 3 chances
Please Note that the PET does not carry any Marks but is Qualifying/Eliminating in nature.
3. Interview
HOW TO APPLY:-
The Applications are accepted through online mode. Please log on to www.ssconline.nic.in and proceed with the Part1 and Part2 Registration. After Completing Part1 Registration a payment of Rs.100 towards the examination fee has to be made. After the payment of fee Candidates can proceed to Part2 Registration.
