The Indian Navy is Inviting Applications from Engineering Graduates to join the force as Short Service Commissioned Officers in Executive Branch (General Service/Hydro cadre) and Technical Branches for
the December 2014 Course conducting at prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.
  • Applications are invited from Unmarried Male candidates for the grant of Short Service 
  • Commission (SSC) in Executive Branch (General Service/Hydro cadre) and Technical Branches of the Indian Navy.
  • The training is conducted by prestigious Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala situated in Kannur district of Kerala state. The training is scheduled to commence in December 2014.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:-
  • Technical Branch (General Service)  ’E’ & ‘L’ and Age 19.5 to 25 yrs 02 Jan 1990 to 01 July 1995
  • Submarine Specialization and 19.5 to 25 yrs 02 Jan 1990 to 01 July 1995
  • Executive Branch (General Service/ Hydro) 19.5 to 25 yrs 02 Jan 1990 to 01 July 1995
 Educational Requirements:-
  • A Candidate should be BE/B.Tech Graduate with minimum 65% Aggregate marks from a Recognized University.
  • Candidates Appearing for Final Exams or Not Qualified are Not Eligible to apply.
  • Candidates with NCC ‘C’ Certificate will be given Preference.

SSB Medical Test

Army medical test in India The candidate recommended by the service selection board will undergo a medical examination by the board of service medical officers.  Women candidates will undergo a medical check by a board consists of male/female doctors/gynaeocologist and medical specialists.  There will be a lady medical officer as the member of the board.  The proceedings of the medical board are confidential and will not be divulged to any one.   However the candidates declared unfit by the Special Medical Board (SMB) will be intimated by the president of the medical board.  The procedure for request of the Appeal Medical Board will also be requested and intimated to the candidate.  Unfit candidates should report to the Appeal Medical Board (AMB) within a maximum period of 42 days.  Candidates are advised to appear in the AMB well in time and should not wait for the last day given by the SMB.  Candidate are advised to  note that the Recruiting Directorate has no role to play in the
