Global Warming in India

The most important topic, which we have to worry about is the Climate change. Each and every citizen in India, should be aware of the Global warming.  Global warming is the rise in the average temperature of Earth’s atmosphere.
The Indian Agriculture Research Institute, announced the global mean annual temperature at the end of the 20th century has increased by 0.7 DC from that recorded at the end of the 9th century.  The seven warmest years globally in the instrumental record occurred in 1990’s. Global warming, in turn, leads to regional changes in climate related parameters such as rainfall, soil moisture , and the sea level.  The sea level has risen by 10 – 20 cm with regional variations.  Environmentalists agree that global warming is a threat eco systems and humans.
Researches made by the Scientists, says ‘The main cause of the current global warming is because of the human expansion of the greenhouse effect‘.
Gases which contribute to the greenhouse effect :
  1. Water vapor
  2. Carbondioxide
  3. Methane
  4. Nitrous oxide
  5. Chlorofluorocarbons
Since the Industrial revolution, started evolving from 19th Century, we have started facing the Global warming , with the exact word, we can say “ we are burning “, because of the fossil fuels.
IRIN news has announced, 12 top countries which is at high risk, in the global warming. Bangladesh leads the top for flood, Malawi – Drought. Philippines – Storm,  Sudan – Agriculture. It has announced that, four of the world’s poorest countries , is in that top list 12.

Effects of Global warming :
  1. Increase in the sea water level
  2. Heat waves
  3. Huge storms and floods
  4. Severe drought
  5. Spread of disease
  6. Economic consequences
  7. Conflicts and war arises
  8. Loss of Biodiversity
We, as humans can do some changes in and around us , to overcome this Global warming
Use the water heater, washing machine and AC only when they required Insulate and weatherize your home.
  1. Recycle your organic waste
  2. Avoid POLYTHENE bags
  3. Try planting trees, wherever possible
  4. Use more of solar energy
  5. Do not waste your fuel
  6. Protect and conserve forest worldwide
And at last, do a commitment, to create awareness about the Global warming, as a chain and the most important “ MAKE SURE YOUR VOICE IS HEARD“
