Nuclear Capability of India

Nuclear Missiles of India
• Everybody across globe agree that new Delhi’s interest in nuclear capability is solely attached to
its peaceful beginning. Here energy demand is essential for survival and modernization.

• We wanted to produce inexpensive electricity. The initiative was the result of presence of great thorium reserves in our country.

• The energy demand was not fulfilled result to which BARC {Bhaba Atomic Research Centre, Trombay was opened up and he was the pioneer for this initiative. It was based on peace process and for military purposes.

• India’s defeat in 1962 in Indo-china war shook our head and proved our un-preparedness (though failure was hidden behind many political reasons which are also called as nehruvian mistake.

• In 1964 China tested a nuclear weapon soon India became conscious over its nuclear capabilities and policies. Then soon china launched a satellite into orbit which proved its capabilities to launch nuclear weapons at distant targets. This gave strong back to policies of India and we took it seriously and shown its capability to produce nuclear weapons.

• France was happy and send congratulatory message to India saying we were known to your capability. US was in anger and limit our capabilities. Now from here word NPT came (nuclear proliferation treaty} this was trick played by US which prohibits all those states to use nuclear power whose nuclear reactors are not full safe guards. Following this US stopped giving assistance to India .

• Apart from all this India continued its activities under nuclear ground but its was always carrying agenda to set peace but seeing so many threats from border countries India tested many nuclear missiles and devices. To stop our growth US pointed many ill sanctions on India.

• But ending three decade pause US India resumed nuclear trade again by providing assistance to India. Today India does have many nuclear weapons.
