To become an Officer through NDA entry

How to become an Officer in Indian Army, Navy and Air Force through NDA Entry.

 Its the dream of many young boys at the age of 16 1/2 to 19.  Especially after finishing the 12th standard school life, its a big question to choose the which path in life.  Whether the Indian defense services or the furnished career options such as Engineering or any fine arts.  Here, Thousands of people are applying for NDA exam by UPSC to prove them for the mother India.  In this race, only a few gentlemen are proving themselves to enter the academy at Khadaksawala, pune, Maharashtra.

Why only a few can able to get into NDA?
Its because, in the selection board they are expecting OLQ - Officer Like Qualities and the maturity level of the candidates.  For the most of the guys the maturity level is not upto the mark of the board after finishing their 12th class.
Right boys, the below is the requirement to enter into the dream NDA, 

NDA Entry Requirements:-
Name of the Course NDA Course
Training Academy National Defense Academy, Pune
Time of Notification for this Course by UPSC June and December
Process of Entry for this Course
Exam by UPSC → All India shortlisting for SSB → Medical → All India Merit List
Type of Services available in this Entry Army, Navy and Air Force
Qualification for Each Service Army - 12th standard pass.
Navy & Air force - 12th standard pass with a subject as Physics and Mathematics
Marital Status Eligibility Only Unmarried Male Candidates
Age Eligibility 16 ½ to 19 years as of first day of the month in which the course is going to start.
Eg. 1st January for Calendar Year Course &
1st July for Academic Year Course
After Successful Completion, Training starts by January(Calendar year) and July (Academic year)
Like date of SSB Interview dates
September to October(For Calendar year) and January to April (For Academic year)
Duration of Training
  1. 3 Years at NDA and 1 Year at IMA(For Army Entry)
  2. 3 Years at NDA and 1 Year at Naval Academy(For Navy Entry)
  3. 3 Years at NDA and 1 & 1/2 Years at AFA (For Air Force Entry)

SSB Medical Test
